avoid providing grapes to your teacup dogs to prevent
blockage in their liver and digestion systems
(^.^did you guess it right?)
food, in general, contains so much nutrition that affects the health
of teacup dogs either directly or indirectly we may or may not know.
speaking from a poodle professional's perspective, having too much or
too less to eat is neither good towards teacup dogs' physical developments.
nevertheless, as most of the nutrition found in food do not come to effect
until after a long while, it explains why it's so important for owners to
keep an eye on what teacup dogs put in their mouths because whatever it is
it's going to be stuck in their bodies and cause consequences in the future.
Teacup Poodle Guideline 8: Nutrition Supply: DO's and DON'Ts
as most of the dog food (from well-known brands) designed for
small size canines
(such as teacup dogs) already contains all the vitamins and
calories required
for their physical development,
lacks in teacup dogs' nutrition intake can only occur if
the owner changes
food supply from dry dog food to human food or other snacks.
consequently, exceeding the amount of daily nutrition suggested
for a teacup dog
can also lead to other minor to serious
health-related issues in the future.
owner should be EXTRA CAREFUL with the types of food
they provide their teacup dogs with.
for example, during the early physical development stage of a teacup dog,
that is before ___?___ year(s) old, if a teacup dog consumes a lot
more than the calcium supply he/she is supposed to have,
it's very likely that they are going to fall into a premature bone development
and hence possible osteoporosis (brittle bones) at a earlier age.
furthermore, excessive consumption of fat-soluble vitamins such as
Vitamin A, D, E and K, can lead to dis-functions in teacup dog's livers.
in order to prevent that from happening we strongly recommend owners to
provide dog foods ONLY
to their teacup dogs, and avoid giving them
extra nutrition than what they actually require
as much as possible,
unless asked to do so under a licensed doctor's supervision.
