Teacup Poodle Guideline 16: Sterilisation of Teacup Dogs

Answer to the previous episode:
Read Teacup Poodle Ep.15 (First Aid for Teacup Dogs)
owners need to be extra careful

not to wrap the bandage too tight
and make sure the blood  flow stays in good circulation.
(^.^did you guess it right?)

Spring (March-May) is usually the breeding seasons for most animals.
some owners may be troubled by the unusual bahaviours of their pets
during this time, such as walking around the neighbourhood
to find mating partners and end up forgetting their way home,
or engaging  in unnecessary street fights with other animals.

we recommend all teacup dog owners to have a quick read
on the following information and most importantly,
do some further researches about the pro and cons and possible
(emotional and physical) changes in their behaviours after being desexed.

Teacup Poodle Guideline 16: Desexing Teacup Dogs

unlike humans, to sterilise a teacup sire is to remove his testicles whereas
a teacup bitch will have both her ovaries and uterus (womb) removed.
sterilisation, in other words, is eliminating all the possibilities
of your teacup dog from having any offspring (again) in the future,
and that we suggest owners to allow themselves enough time to
evaluate the consequences thoroughly before making the final decision.
ideally it's best for teacup dogs to receive sterilisation between
the age of ___?___. although there's yet any solid scientific research
to show that teacup dogs should NOT be desexed before this age,
we highly recommend owners to at least wait until
their pets have already received all three immunity vaccines and also,
take the individual health conditions and growth developments
into consideration before sending them to be desexed as a young puppy.
it's fine to desex elder teacup dogs (7 y.o. or above) as long as
there's a full health report to back up their physical capability in
receiving and recovering from a sterilisation surgery.

Take a guess at  ( ? ) . Answers will be given on the next episode.
