There are acute and chronic two different types of bronchitis could happen to young puppies. The syndrome of the disease can be different from each breed and age.
Bronchitis normally would happen during the season changing period of time. Taking very good care of the disease is essential for your puppy not to have complication disease such as, pneumonia, bronchial asthma can cause puppy’s death.
● The reasons caused acute and chronic bronchitis
Acute bronchitis usually happens during the flu, as bacteria inside the nose and throat can easily cause inflammation and affect the bronchus.
If the acute bronchitis has happened to have longer duration this might led to chronic bronchitis.
Polluted air, someone smokes frequently inside the house where the puppy is living, can be the reasons cause the chronic bronchitis.
● The syndrome of bronchitis
The first stage syndromes of acute bronchitis are coughs, headache, fever, depression and so on.
If its fever happens to excess 39.5 degree and the puppy starts to suffer from asthma or have difficulty of breathing, this might be the complication of the pneumonia or bronchial asthma. This disease (acute bronchitis) mostly happens during autumn and winter seasons, especially to elder dogs or young puppies.
For chronic bronchitis, at the early stage the symptoms would be coughing with some mucus in the winter and no symptom during the summer time.
Once the sickness has become more sever, the symptom of coughing will increase and mucus will become thicker.
★How to cure the bronchitis☆
The priority is to ease the syndrome. For instances, the vet will prescribe some medicine to stop the coughing, antibiotic for infection. If the symptom happens to be more sever, having x ray would be necessary for the puppy.
●Start from your home●
1. Keeping your puppy inside of house provide it a warm environment with clean air.
2. Keeping the indoor humidity for the puppy. You can boil a pot of water to create the steam or water humidifier would help to keep the humidity in the house.
3. Using steam inhaler can ease the inflammation.
4. Smoking inside the house is banded.
To cure chronic bronchitis, the best is to find the causes.
