Teacup Poodle (Teddy Bear) Grooming Guideline 1: Nail Care

stay tuned for more teacup poodle
 (aka Teddy Bears) grooming guidelines
.

teacup poodle owners are most welcome to share your
special pet grooming experience with us anytime.

the most terrifying thing when grooming a teacup poodle
is hurting them by accident. especially when cutting their nails
it's very easy to miss the spots with their hands and feet so hairy.
don't wish to cut too deep that i end up
cutting their vessels and making them hurt.

Teacup Poodle (Teddy Bear)
Grooming Guideline 1: Nail Care

personal hygiene-wise, cut the nails of teacup poodles once about
every 3-5 days; however as every teacup poodle's nail growth pace varies,
owners may also choose to trim the nails once about every 10 days.

it's very important to know where the blood vessels are located
exactly underneath their nails: place their nails on top of a light source
and there should be a white/cream-colour line that separates
the teacup poodle's nails into two areas: back and front.

bear in mind that only remove the areas before the white line when
cutting the nails for your teacup poodles, then you will never need to
worry about accidentally cutting the blood vessels on their nails.
